Pacific Watershed Associates has provided two training classes for about 80 scientists of the newly established State Water Boards Cannabis Cultivation Regulatory Program. Offered through the Water Boards’ Training Academy, each three-day class consisted of formal office and field training. The classes were designed to develop and enhance the staff’s abilities to effectively and efficiently assess onsite land development activities, erosion control, and drainage features, as well as evaluate compliance with the Best Practicable Treatment and Controls (BPTCs) outlined in the State Water Boards’ Cannabis Cultivation Policy and General Order WQ-2019-0001-DWQ. The trainings were held September 10 to 12 and October 22 to 24, 2019. Please contact us if you are interested in obtaining training.
