Watershed restoration and habitat enhancement in the lower Russian River

PWA will provide technical guidance to the Sotoyome RCD in support of sediment reduction projects aimed at enhancing salmonid habitat in Sheephouse Creek and Austin Creek in the lower Russian River watershed. Road upgrading and decommissioning implementation projects funded in 2012 will prevent approximatley 11,000 cubic yards of  sediment delivery annually to these two important salmonid bearing tributaries.
